Let's Read, Write, and Rise!
This unique grammar and writing workbook uses the timeless verses of Surah Al-Fatihah as a springboard to teach essential language skills—grammar, parts of speech, critical thinking, creative expression, and essay writing—while nurturing a deep spiritual connection. Designed to engage both heart and mind, each lesson is rooted in the belief that all knowledge is sacred and every subject can be a means of drawing nearer to the All-Knowing. There is no such thing as “secular” learning; when guided with intention, even the rules of grammar become a pathway to reflect, worship, and grow. Whether used at home or in the classroom, this workbook invites students to explore the beauty of language through the lens of divine revelation.
This writing curriculum explores the life of Abu Bakr (R) through Yaqeen Institute’s series, The Firsts, while simultaneously strengthening essential academic skills. It fosters creative writing, critical thinking, grammar proficiency, annotation, and reflection, as well as opportunities for scientific research and artistic expression.
Let’s prioritize providing our children with rigorous academic learning through content that nurtures their fitrah and strengthens their connection to faith.
