“Dr. Qanita’s training was by far one of the best trainings during our in-service time. It really inspired me to relate every concept I teach to the Quran. The different center ideas was great and I will be implementing some of those ideas in my classroom, Insha’Allah.
As a first grade teacher, teaching students the foundation of English Language Arts; the Quranic Copybook was especially enjoyable to see and I will be using this workbook as part of our handwriting lessons. Insha’Allah.”
Elementary Teacher“This was my favorite day of training. Learning from Dr. Qanita was such an honor. She has a wealth of knowledge but also is great at taking big concepts and breaking them down in a way that everyone can understand. I really appreciated all of the different ideas she gave us and how she really thinks and implements things that are “out of the box” but work. She inspired me to be more creative in the way that I work with children.”
Support Specialist“I really loved this training with Dr. Qanita. It was such a refreshing reminder that we can bring meaningful connections to our deen into the curriculum. I especially appreciated the idea of making those connections in a fun, natural, and engaging way for students. The training also made me think back to myself as a child and reflect on what I would have wanted from my teachers. I think I would have loved having a teacher who connected what I was learning in the classroom to Allah and to my faith in a way that felt exciting and meaningful, rather than forced. It was truly a breath of fresh air to see how academics and faith can work together so beautifully.
This training reminded me that teaching is not just about covering standards; it is also an opportunity to help students see the beauty of Allah's creation and understand their learning through a faith-centered lens. I left the training feeling inspired and excited to bring these ideas into my own teaching, insha'Allah.”
